Global Inventory Director
Position Summary:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for developing and executing inventory strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and ensure product availability. This role will oversee all inventory management processes, including demand forecasting, inventory planning, and control. The Director of Inventory will work closely with the operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support the company's growth objectives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting for long periods. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting of items weighing up to (25) twenty-five pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials. Moving from place to place within the office; minimum reaching for items above and below desk level. Strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.

Global Inventory Director
Position Summary:

- Develop and implement inventory management strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee inventory planning and control processes to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory performance and implement corrective actions to address variances.
Demand Forecasting:
- Adjust inventory plans based on changing market conditions and sales trends.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain inventory management policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with the production team to align inventory levels with production schedules.
- Communicate inventory performance and issues to senior management.
Technology and Systems:
- Implement and manage inventory management software and tools.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
- Utilize data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
Leadership:
- Provide training and support to ensure various business units members are skilled in inventory management best practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with revenues over $100 million.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and tools.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
