Description:
Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. (Columbia, MD) is seeking a Application Engineer -Wireless Protocol: Track and resolve customer issues raised; and provide technical feedback to product line to improve current products and define future products. The position requires the minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related Engineering field, and 3 years' progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any related occupation, to include 3 years' experience with Python and object-oriented programming; 3 years' experience working with mobile communications protocols, including 5G NR, LTE, Physical Layer, Layer 2, RRC, NAS; and 3 years' experience with data centric protocols, including TCP/IP, SIP/SDP, RTP,RTCP. Remote work permitted from anywhere in the US. Incumbent will be required to travel 15% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience. Experience may be gained concurrently.
