JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective: Coordinate K-12 co-curricular programs across the district. Work with school-based athletics/activities directors, CHSAA, and other community and school entities to coordinate and strengthen co-curricular programs. Collaborate with school administration to orchestrate district activities and athletic programs. Participate in the hiring process for hiring school athletic directors and coaches. Oversees and manages the district 21st Century program.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Co-supervises school athletic directors with school principal
Work Environment/ Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods of time, and handle numerous distractions. Visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity is important. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
Travel: Within the district is required, out of state travel to conferences

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Must be eligible for a Colorado Principal License when the position begins
- Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Title IX training (can be obtained immediately after hire)
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Previous experience as a district or school athletic director
- Bilingual Spanish
- Previous 21C Century experience
JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions:
- Serves as Ombudsman: Is the first point of contact for parent complaints regarding athletics when questions or problems are not resolved at the school level. Investigate issues and policies; work with site administration, School Leadership, and parents to resolve issues.
- Manages Data: Creates timely and regular student data reports to help monitor student engagement factors. These data include Early Warning System, attendance, grades, participation, enrollment, class load, and discipline data including disparity.
- Leads the 4th/5th grade athletic after-school program and coordinates opportunities for students to play at halftime of high school events.
- Leads 21st Century before and after-school programming including budgets, staffing, and state reporting.
- Provides professional development: Leads training for school-based leaders (assistant principals, deans, committee members) on a variety of topics as directed by School Leadership, including, but not limited to:
- Open enrollment and transfer process.
- Field trip approvals for schools, teams, and activities.
- Critical dates calendar for all schools.
- Other reform initiatives and activities.
- Collaborates with the district Title IX director to train all coaches each year
- Adheres to human resources hiring practices and implements appropriate hiring of athletic directors and coaching staff
