Job Title: Platform Architect

So, what will I do?

• Design and implement scalable and reliable platform architectures that integrate DevOps and Data Engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that support business goals while maintaining compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
• Lead the adoption of cloud-native technologies and automation tools to streamline development, deployment, and operations processes.
• Architect and design data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring solutions.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in evaluating and selecting platform technologies, including cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and data engineering tools (Apache Spark, Kafka, Snowflake).
• Partner with business and IT leaders to ensure that platform initiatives support the organization's overall strategy, driving digital transformation and innovation.

And, what will I bring?

• 5+ years of experience in platform architecture, with a strong background in DevOps and Data Engineering.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Proficiency with data engineering concepts and tools, including data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Strong risk analysis skills and experience with security patterns, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance.
• Excellent consulting, facilitation, demonstration, and communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive adoption of platform solutions.
• Consulting experience is a nice to have, but not required.

Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements
