Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and oversee the payroll operations for a large and dynamic organization. This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for thousands of employees across the U.S. and Canada, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and fostering a high-performing payroll team. The Payroll Manager will collaborate with multiple departments, manage sensitive information with discretion, and support organizational initiatives such as acquisitions and year-end processes.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years experience managing payroll for a large organization, including multi-state payroll operations
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and tax compliance
• Proficiency in payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now and Kronos
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and audit data
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience supervising and mentoring a payroll team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle escalations and collaborate across teams

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
• Background in payroll aspects of acquisitions or organizational integrations
• Familiarity with year-end payroll activities, including reconciliations and reporting

Compensation: $95,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
