Controller

A reputable Nonprofit Organization in Boston is seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to lead the Finance Department. This hybrid role involves both remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete, accurate, timely, and reliable financial records.
• Implement and manage clear, properly used financial processes and controls.
• Oversee financial technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with program and department directors to address and resolve business issues.
• Supervise and lead a team of 5 staff members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, ideally within a Nonprofit organization.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit financial statements and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and technology solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $150,000-$170,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
