Discover the Difference at Home with Dignity:
Responsibilities
As an in-home euthanasia Veterinarian, you will experience:
Day-to-Day: In this role, you will conduct euthanasia procedures with care, compassion, and professionalism. You will travel to clients' homes and perform the euthanasia procedure, seeing up to 6 patients a day. After each appointment, you will transport the pet to the local crematorium that Home with Dignity partners with. Our Veterinarian's main and only focus is the appointments themselves and transportation of the pets. In addition to this, you are supported by an incredible team of Care Coordinators who handle all the administrative work (appointment scheduling, payment processing, client follow-up, etc.).
Work-Life Balance (but actually!): It's the oldest promise in the book, but we deliver. Your schedule is built around your life and the needs of the practice. No catching up on notes, no client follow-up calls, simply time to spend with your loved ones and reflect on the incredible impact you had on so many lives that day.
Kind and Grateful Clients: Clients in a hospital setting can be scared, angry, looking for someone to blame; unfortunately, this blame often falls on the Veterinarian. Our clients are in a different stage of the grieving process: acceptance. As a result, our Veterinarians are treated with a level of grace, appreciation and kindness that re-ignites a love of their profession.
Support, Mentorship and Community: As a member of our family, in addition to the back-office support, you will be part of a nationwide network of Veterinarians, who will provide you with mentorship, guidance, inspiration, support, and community.
