RxBenefits is adding to our growing Strategic Markets organization! We are adding a Business Development Executive dedicated to growth in the Private Equity (PE) sector. This role is responsible for generating relationships and new business with PE firms and selling them on the value this will bring to their portfolio companies. He/she will work closely with industry sector leaders, marketing department colleagues and business development executives to ensure an organized, holistic, and focused strategy is developed and executed in expanding relationships with PE firms and our service offerings for their portfolio companies. The Executive Advisor will also leverage personal referral, industry-based and other business community networks with PE firms to help drive new business opportunities for the company. This position will support the entire United States with frequent travel within the territory.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Leads the business development planning and activities of the PE sector, practice area, and office teams to which assigned, through close collaboration with team leadership and other key relationships.
- Establishes relationships with PE firms and leverages those relationships to develop leads with individual portfolio companies through providing a value proposition including the financial opportunity.
- Works closely with business development executives to execute on the leads leveraging broker relationships with the portfolio company
- Identifies areas for expanded services offerings to existing clients, and through consultative sales approach, coordinates follow-on activities with the industry sector
- Develops and manages a proactive and organized sales process and pipeline, and tracks achievement against strategic objectives and business plan.
- Ensures close coordination and collaboration with marketing colleagues to promote integrated support to business development efforts.
- Actively participates in increasing the company's visibility in PE sectors and markets through networking, speaking opportunities, holding leadership roles in influential organizations, and developing high value opportunities and business connections.
- Helps create and foster a business development culture which embraces a strategic, proactive and client-centric approach in assisting SAEs & AMs with identifying, actively pursuing and closing new business opportunities.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of business development/sales experience
- PBM / Pharmacy / Health / PE space experience strongly preferred
- Success selling to PE firms and their portfolio companies strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends.
- Excellent presentation, communication (both written and verbal).
- Interpersonal and leadership skills required to work closely senior executives on a routine basis.
- Strong attention to detail and sound organizational abilities.
- Ability to quickly develop rapport and gain respect at all levels of an organization.
- Extensive experience and proven success with formulating, implementing, and sustaining client development efforts, and in building/expanding client relationships.
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated, with a team-oriented attitude.
- Proven organizational skills and a history of teamwork
