We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to join our team as a Senior Scientist, functional genomics to work in our Cambridge, MA lab. As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and application of functional genomics strategies to support drug discovery and development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and characterize ex vivo cultured tumors.
- Perform large scale functional genomic screens.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with modern molecular and cellular biology techniques, preferably experience performing functional genomics.
- A solid background in human genetics.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- PhD and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience in functional genomics and/or molecular genetics
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to sit and use hands to finger, handle and feel.
- Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time using a computer in a typical office environment in a multi-level facility.
- Some activities require repetitive motion and reaching, pulling or pushing.
- In carrying out the duties of the job there will be frequent exposure to fumes and chemical hazards.
- Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue.
