01/02/2025The Parkway School District Department of Human Resources is currently accepting applications for the position of Activities/Athletic Director of West High School for the 2025-2026 school year.

The purpose of Parkway West High Activities/Athletics is to provide students with a variety of extracurricular programs and activities from which form positive relationships, build character, develop leadership skills, provide opportunities for transfer of classroom knowledge, and participate in athletic competition.

Successful candidates will possess:

• strong decision-making, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• a strong desire to work with students and staff who have diverse needs
• conflict resolution expertise
• experience in publicity and promotion
• a thorough understanding of MSHSAA's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• knowledge of risk management
• an ability to articulate the philosophy and organization of programs
• an operating knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and web page applications.

Job responsibilities include supervision, implementation, and/or evaluation of the following: Facilities, Finances, Transportation, Scheduling, MSHSAA & Title IX, rules and regulations, athletes and spectators, and other duties as assigned by the principal. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with students, staff, and parents. Specific job responsibilities will be determined based on the candidate's skills, abilities, and specific school requirements.

Minimum Salary - $99,765
12 Month Working Contract

Applicants must possess a non-expired Missouri Principal's Certificate or a Certified Athletic Administrator Certification.
