Job Summary
This position supports the Long Range Systems Division at Eglin AFB, FL. Specific focus will be for the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) and Joint Anti-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program Offices, Production Integrate Product Team (IPT), Eglin AFB, FL. This position is for a supply chain analyst, or Program Manager with supply chain background, to provide program support to programs. Support will also provide recommendations and options for overarching weapon improvement of production efforts, in effort to streamline and maximize efficiency and effectiveness for all variants of products at LRSD. This is a 100% direct labor position that will require intermittent travel within the Continental US.
Essential Job Functions
Provide program production, development and obsolescence analysis and insure program production goals are supported throughout the various phases of the programs assigned within the LRSD portfolio
Develop and author contractual support documentation for LRSD programmatic, budget, schedule and risk analysis products to support leadership decision making capabilities, for example: dashboards for weapon program reviews for JASSM
Deliver technical writing, analysis and support briefings to clearance authorities and program leadership
Provide technical analysis and subject matter expertise regarding supply chain management
Provide production cut-in analysis of supplier capabilities to meet production rate ramp of current weapon system production flow and growth with emphasis on requirements for tooling, labor and inventory for successful contract delivery
Provide prime contractor and sub-contactor as well as sub-tier vendor analysis support throughout development, production and obsolescence activities at the JPO
Qualifications
BS or Master's degree required from an accredited college or university in business or related field
Ten (10) years' experience in DoD key topic fields to include program management, team management, obsolescence, explosive ordinance analysis and DoD contracts being let, modified or requested with defense contractors.
Three (3) years of technical experience in support of production of munitions for the USG in DOD programs or Commercial Industry.
Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches and sophisticated research techniques.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently on material, labor, end item or process problems and risk mitigation methods, and to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work to achieve a specific goal of the customer.
Strong Organizational and Presentation Skills (MS Office Expert in all Mediums Required)
Must have current/maintained Secret security clearance (or higher) and/or ability to attain a Secret clearance.
