Description:
ECS Federal is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to work remotely/hybrid.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Leadership: Manages experienced and junior professionals who exercise independence in their assignments within the assigned business unit. Provides overall contracts leadership to the Business Unit Manager and the associated Division Managers as well as the associated contracts team. Provides contractual guidance to business team members. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. Reviews and resolves all issues effecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, Company, and customer objectives.
Proposals: Leads the BU contracts team in proposal preparation and proposal support. May personally handle more complex bids that require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors. Reviews complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Contract Administration & Management: Focal point for communications with legal, finance and business team in resolution of contract issues and disputes and manages the BU contracts team leading them through resolution. Plans, conducts, and supervises assignments, generally involving larger and more important projects or multiple projects. Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements. Negotiates and administer Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements. Oversees contract and task order entries within the Unison CLM system. Determines candidates for employment/termination, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies. Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices. Participates in special projects as required.
Manages contract change control process. Develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on contractual issues.
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000

General Description of benefits
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience with Federal Government Contracting, specifically Health and Civilian Agencies.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team of experienced contracts professionals.
- Must have strong commitment to Customer Service and taking ownership of the team and associated contract administration.
- Proposal experience involving responding to Federal Government solicitations.
- Significant experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations and supplements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate, facilitate and disseminate information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information and adhere to high standards or confidentiality and honesty.
