This role is based in Milwaukee, WI, and involves travel to our various manufacturing sites. As a leader overseeing multiple locations, you'll collaborate with teams across the company to drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do...

As our Director of Engineering, you'll lead the engineering and maintenance teams across our manufacturing sites. You'll play a critical role in strategic planning, capital project management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will ensure our facilities remain efficient, innovative, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Guide and develop the engineering team, prioritizing work and fostering professional growth.
• Capital Projects: Oversee equipment purchases, installations, and training, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with plant management to identify and implement production efficiency improvements.
• Product Support: Partner with Marketing and R&D to bring new products to market.
• Maintenance Oversight: Develop standardized maintenance systems and support technicians with troubleshooting and improvements.
• Strategic Planning: Drive long-range technical initiatives and maintain alignment with business goals.

What You'll Bring

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in Mechanical or Food Manufacturing Engineering with leadership experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong background in food safety, hygienic design, and compliance with regulatory standards.
