JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
The Commercial Banker ("CB") will have typical commercial banking responsibilities which will include managing an existing portfolio, growing this portfolio's revenue base, marketing, and new client generation. The CB is expected to assist in the collection of financial statements, underwritings, the annual review process, and be the primary representative for their book of business. This individual is also expected to establish an external network of COI's as well as implement a consistent and methodical calling effort to generate new revenue opportunities. Consistent with all front line colleagues, this individual is expected to conduct themselves respect, with a positive reputation in the community and be the First Line of Defense with respect to identifying, mitigating, and managing reputational, operational, credit, and other risks throughout the enterprise.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Community Bank has adopted a 40-hour work week. Some flexibility in hours is necessary based on the location assignments, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Travel:
Travel for this position is limited to travel for meetings/training.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and previous commercial banking experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Strong clerical skills, good communication skills and professional appearance are necessary for this position.

- Assist in collection of financial statements.
- Assist in deal management and pipeline conversion by actively engaging with the clients and assisting in credit underwritings, risk ratings, and underwriting packages.
- Participate in credit committee and be an active presenter.
- Manage an existing portfolio with the expectation of being the primary point of contact and growing the portfolio's revenue base.
- Be visible in the market and cultivate an external network of COI's and potential referral sources.
- Drive new revenue as a Commercial Banker.
