Product Development and Production Manager

The Manager for Production and Product Development will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production and product development within the organization. This individual will lead a team of skilled professionals to ensure the timely and efficient production of high-quality products while driving innovation and continuous improvement in our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
• Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning to meet production targets and customer demand.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies in all production activities.

Product Development:

• Assist the product development team in the conceptualization, design, and prototyping of new products or product enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to translate market insights and customer feedback into innovative product solutions.
• Drive the development and implementation of product development processes, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to inform product development strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with other departments, including supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across all stages of production and product development.
• Act as a key liaison between production/product development and other functional areas to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and drive cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in production management, product development, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully leading production teams and driving product innovation in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive operational improvements.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in NteSuite is a plus.
