SUMMARY
Provides comprehensive support for distribution center operations including but not limited to training, inventory control, process compliance, promotions, and issues that require further escalation. Serves as a liaison between the DC office, field sales and Service network. Leads, directs, and controls the day-to-day activities of the Distribution Center facility to achieve the short and mid-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan. Develops promising individuals to prepare them for leadership roles. Represents the organization on critical and strategic issues. Ensures that quality processes are developed and controlled. Responsible for developing objectives, policies, procedures, and budgets, as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business and operations experience with at least three years' experience in an analytic role within one or more of the disciplines of Sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide daily support to all aspects of operations, order entry, warehouse processing, basic accounting and customer-facing interactions.
- Develop tools to track group and individual progress and performance.
- Implement and enforce processes, infrastructure, and tools that enable success and smooth collaboration with adjacent departments.
- Responsible for compliance to safety policies within assigned region facilities.
- Work towards exceeding targets for on time delivery, drop ships, FIFO, and operational cost.
- Supports sales by developing and improving sales processes, strategies, systems, and policies. Performs a variety of activities related to the day-to-day operations of sales function, such as assisting coordinating territory/region assignments, and measuring sales operations
- Working closely with Sales Management and Finance to proactively identify and address process gaps and areas for improvement.
- Delivering process training to new hires and reinforcing processes to Operations team via regular communication and clear documentation.
- Warehouse - oversee and execute as needed the unloading of containers, receiving, put away, picking and staging, stock rotation, setting up LTL shipments, etc.
- Supporting A/R and A/P with interdepartmental policies and processes to invoice customers, collect, post and apply payments, and compensate vendors.
- Parts - Part number lookup, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, UPS WorldShip, develop storage methods, cycle count, etc.
- Warranty - Processing and tracking claims within warranty system including tracking and handling of required return parts.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business and operations experience with at least three years' experience in an analytic role within one or more of the disciplines of Sales.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills
- Strong people skills are a must and must be able to assimilate into various interdependent working departments.
- Must be a strong team player with ability to develop collaborative relationships with the sales teams.
- MS office; expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills, Dynamics (365 a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Experience in setting high growth operations functions.
- Experience directly managing a fast-paced Operations Team, implementing and maintaining internal controls.
- Experience working on cross functional teams.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate
- Requires standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift boxes/materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Requires telephone work and/or computer work, as well as interactions with other employees and customers
- Ability to read, write, listen, and communicate effectively.
Travel Required:
- Yes, up to 35%
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and three plus years of Accounts Receivable, Credit, and/or Collections experience or college study in accounting and one year of relevant experience.
- Experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including diplomacy and negotiation. Comfortable leading discussions with or presenting to Senior Management.

- Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and patterns to proactively support Operations and minimize risk.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another large-scale ERP platform appreciated.
