The General Manager will be managing the International Logistics operation management for pass through parts to the US region, including customer service(Order management and delivery), material planning, In-house WH daily operation management, and 3rd party WH LSP management. Other duties include:

The General Manager will be managing the International Logistics operation management for pass through parts to the US region, including customer service(Order management and delivery), material planning, In-house WH daily operation management, and 3rd party WH LSP management. Other duties include:
- Administration and monitoring of KPI for PAAP
- Team building, management, assessment and echelon training & guide for PAAP
- Managing the customer order receiving and delivery, and coordinating with customers for delivery issues for the US region.
- Management of the supplier KPI evaluation from customer to Minth, to fulfill customer satisfaction; Establish and keep a good relationship with the customer logistics department(especially for the logistics requirement department)and smooth communication
- Responsible for in-house WH operation management of pass through parts in the US region, including the warehouse layout design and implementation, new project warehousing implementation; daily operation for pass through WH including inbound, storage, repacking and outbound; Daily transaction management and cycle count management, to ensure the accounting corresponding to the physical stocks; Customer POD management; Nok parts disposition per the indication from quality department.
- Oversee the 3rd party WH LSP management for US pass through parts, including warehousing fee budget, payment management, accounting checking, LSP performance evaluation and yearly audit.
- Coordinate the material planning of the pass-through products with supplier plants(China, Thailand, etc.), and monitor the delivery from China and Thailand to ensure the reasonable safety stock in the warehouse.
- Tracking the pass-through products and coordinating the arrival of the products per the requirement from customer release for US pass-through parts.
- Import & Export customs and transportation management for U.S.
- Managed import & export-related transportation management and procedure optimization for the NA region, including the planning of the trucks from port/Yard to the plant(including 3rd party WH), and the transportation between Mexico and America.
- Oversee customs operation and procedure optimization for the NA region, including shipping documents, customs declaration and clearance, HS classification and ruling with customs authority, and non-physical transferred tooling/moulding declaration.
- Administration of the Control of certificates of origin for clients and suppliers.
To qualify for this role you must meet the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- At least 10 years working experience in overseas logistics, of which more than years experience in the n automotive part industry and must have overseas customs&transportation and overseas transit warehouse management experience
- International Trade, Logistics, transportation, warehousing and Customs compliance knowledge
- Good understanding of local and destination countries (mainly China, USA/EU) Customs regulations and procedures, extensive China customs compliance experience with processing trade, eBooks, HTS classification and negotiating with customs officials. Be familiar with such mechanisms as IMMEX and PROSEC, having operation and management experience in IMMEX, and PROSEC; Be familiar with the application precondition and procedure for North AAmericannCertificate of Origin.
- Experience in warehouse planning, operation, and WMS system principles, procurement of the logistics(warehousing, transportation) and the LSP management, strong negotiation skills with suppliers, and international transportation operations including sea, rail and air freight, and LSP management(carrier, forwarder, customs broker, etc.)
- Good understanding of logistics requirements from automotive industry customers, especially from USA/EU OEMs, e.g. MMOG/LE
- International financial and tax knowledge
- Good sense for systematic thinking and global thinking, be meticulous and considerate for work.
- Good global organizing, coordination, optional solutions providing and problem-solving ability
- Good sense for setting up and optimizing the procedure to improve work efficiency.
- Cross-culture communication skills, coordination ability and teamwork spirit
- Good understanding of the inventory management process of manufacturing enterprise and extensive management experience in stock control
- Good skills in using ERP-SAP or QAD Office software and other IT software (e.g. PPT, function)
