Job Description
We're looking for a Global Operations Manager to develop and build relationships with global suppliers and the Anvyl team and product. This person should have experience in supplier sourcing and global manufacturing and be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your main duties will include sourcing suppliers, connecting them with consumer brands and training the suppliers on the Anvyl SaaS solution.
This is a hybrid role - three days per week in one of our US offices (Austin, TX.. OR...Atlanta or Lawrenceville, GA)
Key Responsibilities
Identify suppliers for consumer brands and onboard them into the Anvyl system
Support current suppliers to ensure the use of Anvyl
Review RFQ/Support for accuracy and timing
Demo and pitch learnings to support suppliers/customers
Provide user feedback to the internal team
Participate in onboarding/customer calls as needed
Bring on suppliers for supplier relationship management
Hold weekly meetings with global suppliers
Successfully identify individuals at companies who can purchase products from Anvyl suppliers and use Anvyl software
Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to suppliers and brands
Support marketing initiatives by traveling to conferences and selling the company's ability to support customers
Requirements
5-10 years of experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing
The ability to correctly identify what type of manufacturing method is needed from a customer and source accordingly
A valid passport and the ability to obtain a visa for travel to China
The ability to travel globally, with about 20% travel time
A valid driver's license
The ability to work on tight deadlines to meet customer and supplier requests to win new business.
Skill reading technical documents and offering feedback based on supplier recommendations.
