Job Description
Trinnex is seeking a Lead AI/ML Developer to join our team. This individual leads the development, implementation, and improvement of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions across product and service offerings. Converts algorithms to code for solutions that leverage machine learning concepts to interpret large and complex data sets. Customizes and trains machine learning or predictive models to meet specific end user needs. Monitors adherence and recommends refinement of ML development standards to ensure scalability and accuracy to meet the enterprise needs. Oversees team members on deliverables and project tasks/activities. Work is performed to established goals.
Leads the development, implementation, and improvement of AI and machine learning solutions across our product offerings. Explores, evaluates, and implements cutting-edge techniques and methodologies to enhance product performance and develop new features.
Reviews and conducts algorithm conversions to code for solutions that leverage machine learning concepts to interpret large and complex data sets. Ensures machine learning or predictive models meet specific end user needs. Establishes and refines machine learning development standards to ensure scalability and accuracy to meet the enterprise needs.
Manages development projects to deliver on time, within budget and to a high level of quality. Follows time-tracking and other project management requirements. Contributes actively to project meetings, stand-ups, etc. Serve as a technical expert for complex projects, collaborating managers and stakeholders to ensure project scope, risk, budget, etc. are managed appropriately. Conducts project meetings and workgroups.
Oversees the testing and validation of AI model accuracy and reliability to ensure models perform to technical and business specifications and expectations. Reviews documentation for thoroughness and clarity.
Serves as a technical expert and assists with data-related technical issues.
Leads, coaches, develops and trains assigned team members. Monitors staff workloads and provides team resources needed to ensure delivery of a high-quality outcome to complete their jobs. Provides ongoing feedback of performance to direct reports and may conduct performance reviews. Champions responsible AI practices, ensuring ethical and transparent development and implementation of technical solutions.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
7 years of related experience.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Preferred Qualifications
Water utility industry experience with the following:
o Digital twins
o Water meter data (AMI)
o SCADA
o Hydraulic modelling
o GIS
o ML Operations
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
