LOCATION SUMMARY:
Nestled on the Central California Coast, Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. POSITION SUMMARY:
Directly responsible for all facets of Patient Accounting, which includes all accounts receivable and collection activity. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of all aspects of patient access / registration functions. Must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret third party payor principles and terms and COBRA laws. Organizational, multi-tasking skills with proven ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Interpersonal skills with previous employee relations experience including analytical and grammatical skills necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Analytical Skills, AR. Management experience to include contract adjudication knowledge, Strong Leadership, Effective Communication, Computer/IT/System experience, Experience with the A/R process flow, Action Oriented, Problem Solver, Proactive, Sense of Accountability and Ownership, Tenacity, Regulatory/Compliance experience. Champions the hospital's interest.

Education and Work Experience:
- Significant experience (8+ years) in A/R Management and/or Managed Care contracting and analysis as well as experience directing a multi-facility business office: Required
- BA/BS in Business, Health Administration or related degree: Preferred
