Our team runs some of the largest platforms and services that Apple uses for developing machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision applications. The Bolt platform sits at the center of Apple's internal machine learning ecosystem, enabling access to the latest accelerated computing hardware at scale for all kinds of use cases. As a software engineer on the Bolt team, you will be responsible for shaping how our users understand and interact with the platform's user interfaces and APIs. You'll work collaboratively with Apple machine learning engineers to understand the challenges they are facing, and work with our team and partners to design and implement solutions that enable innovative and impactful work across the company!

Description
As a software engineer on the Bolt team you have the following responsibilities:
- Design and implement new user-facing features and capabilities in Bolt's web-based user interface and client libraries.
- Lead effective design processes. Create mocks, write design documents, gather feedback, and drive implementation plans.
- Work as part of our team of engineers to integrate existing services or implement new services, as needed.
- Partner with data scientists and machine learning engineers across different Apple organizations to define opportunities to improve the machine learning platform.
- Gather and analyze usage data to measure and understand impact of existing product features, and detect gaps and opportunities for improvements.
