Physician - Cardiovascular Surgeon

TidalHealth, located in Salisbury, MD is searching for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our growing practice!

• High volume team oriented cardiothoracic practice consisting of 2 Surgeons with combined 50 years' experience at same institution.
• 70% Cardiac Surgery, 30% General Thoracic
• Advanced cardiothoracic and vascular surgical technology with minimally-invasive DaVinci XI Robotic Thoracic procedures, Surgical Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation, Surgeon lead TAVR and Mitra-Clip programs, and many others.
• Monday-Friday with 4 OR days (per surgeon) and typically 5 to 10 cases per week. Two dedicated cardiothoracic operating rooms supported by a dedicated OR team and cardiac trained anesthesiologists.
• Team is supported by APPs (6 PAs, 2 NPs)
• Clinic days with expectations of 12-15 patients per clinic week, including rotations in Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology and Heart Valve/TAVR Clinics.
• Call is every third night and every third weekend.
• Very strong PA support and the PA will be first call
