Job Summary

As Nursing Director, oversee nursing practices and clinical services at Baylor Scott, White Health facilities. Use clinical expertise in patient care environments. Develop and implement clinical protocols and nursing policies. Negotiate resources between departments and facilitate communication for seamless patient care delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Be accountable for steering nursing services within your designated area of work.
  • Monitor productivity daily, making necessary adjustments to adhere to productivity standards.
  • Drive the development, tracking and reporting of yearly quality improvement priorities specific to each unit.
  • Delve into unfortunate incidents, analysing data and findings to single out areas for enhancement.
  • Form effective partnerships with non-nursing departments to raise the level of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Regularly conduct and participate in clinical rounds to identify patient needs and share observations.
  • Assure adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, licensing, and accrediting norms.
  • Develop and apply metrics, dashboards, and tools for service delivery monitoring.
  • Encourage communication in the department.
  • Partner with nursing, medical staff, and operational directors for safe patient care.


What Will Make You Successful In The Role

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role would be highly favourable.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Better communication skills, including verbal, written, and presenting.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor'

- EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -

Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR): BLS or CPR Required.
