Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Operating Room
Job Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: 8 hours, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Experience: 2 years required
License: Registered Nurse (RN)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - must be American Heart Association; Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
Must-Have:
- Ability to scrub and circulate
- Experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Job Description:
- Handle a variety of cases including Ortho, Neuro, Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Spine, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast.
- Participate in floating to Gastrointestinal/Endoscopy unit as needed.
- Common GI cases include Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and PEG Placement.
- Work in a facility with 9 suites, managing 25-35 cases per day.
- Use EPIC for electronic medical records; access required.
- Hospital provides scrubs.
- Complete a floor-specific orientation of 1 week (2 weeks for night shifts).
- Call duty required, 1-3 shifts every 6 weeks, including on-call for weekends and holidays if it falls within the contract time frame.
