Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with Medicaid/MMIS experience to join our team in Columbus, OH. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite each week. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Integrated Eligibility systems (Medicaid, SNAP/TANF, Child Care) and possess a blend of manual and automation testing experience. This position requires a proactive approach to quality assurance and a collaborative attitude to support development and system integration teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on Medicaid, MMIS, or Integrated Eligibility systems.
  • Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of eligibility rules, test management tools, and integration testing.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Selenium, Cucumber, and other automation testing tools.
  • Test Scripting: Ability to create and execute manual and automated test scripts.
  • Defect Lifecycle: Strong understanding of SDLC and the defect lifecycle process.
  • Reports Testing: Ability to validate system-generated reports and ensure data accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback to system integrators.
Key Responsibilities
  • Hybrid Work Requirement: Must be able to work onsite 2 days a week in Columbus, OH.
  • Integrated Eligibility Testing: Leverage knowledge of Medicaid, SNAP/TANF, and Child Care systems to conduct effective testing.
  • Rules Testing: Test eligibility rules to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reports & Integration Testing: Execute end-to-end integration testing and validate system reports.
  • Test Management: Use Test Management tools for test case creation, execution, and reporting.
  • Automation Testing: Utilize scripting and automation tools like Selenium & Cucumber to create and execute automated test scripts.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct manual scripting and test execution to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Release Coordination: Act as a key point of contact for QA aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating QA resources.
  • Compliance & QA Adherence: Ensure that all testing work is carried out in accordance with the test plan, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Defect Management: Provide feedback on testing outcomes and track defect lifecycles to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process Adherence: Follow formal QA processes and goals as established by the QA lead and ensure compliance with SDLC best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with eligibility systems related to Medicaid, SNAP/TANF, or Child Care.
  • Hands-on experience with Test Management tools.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools like Selenium & Cucumber.
