The Senior Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance, focusing on reporting and analyzing performance, and will also work closely with the Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain Directors within the North American region of the No7 Beauty Company (No7BC). Leveraging finance systems and analysis tools and fostering a data-driven analytical approach, this role will transform data into actionable insights that improve financial and operating performance. To do this the Senior Finance Manager will effectively and persuasively communicate analyses and recommendations to all levels of management. This role requires significant accuracy and attention to detail as well as creative problem-solving abilities. In summary, the individual will play a key role in driving the growth agenda of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
A bit about you...
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, MBA/CPA preferred
5+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility; preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods or Beauty Industries
Proactive agent of change, who is adept at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of the business
Resilient and flexible, with the ability to cope with a changing, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks through managing stakeholders, priorities, and workload.
Flexibility to not only synthesize data across different sources but utilize data and reporting to influence and drive commercial agenda and execute at a high capacity in a highly dynamic function
Very proficient in Excel, including complex formulas, macros, and pivot tables in order to manipulate large amounts of data and build ad hoc Excel-based tracking and forecasting models and templates
Knowledge of Planning Analytics and SAP would be beneficial
Positive, collaborative attitude; a self-starter eager to make their mark on the business

Key Responsibilities
- Support the business to ensure a timely and accurate month-end close process, working closely with business partners and Controllership to preserve the integrity of the accounts.
- Prepare and distribute executive performance reports giving clear insights. Analyze variances to plans and work with the business to proactively identify and minimize discrepancies and risks
- Support the Finance Director through ownership of the entire Boots Retail USA P&L and balance sheet, leveraging the expertise of other teams where required (on and offshore)
- Communicate the planning calendar to the business, giving clear expectations on deliverables within wider global organizational context.
- Lead the development, tracking, and maintenance of No7 Beauty Company US annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Work closely with business partners to provide analysis to improve sales forecasting, drive top-line margin through COGS and Trade analysis, and represent Finance in the Sales and Operational Planning process (demand planning and inventory forecasting)
- Track and monitor marketing spend and effectiveness vs plan and NPD performance
- Lead & participate in ad hoc strategic projects, process improvement initiatives, and special requests, working with a "continuous improvement" mindset
- Work collaboratively with the global finance team and Walgreens finance as required
- Line manage and develop a Senior Finance Analyst
