The Senior Director of Customer Analytics and insights is a key member of the Wingstop marketing team. The perfect candidate is a strong collaborator with a great business acumen, passion for brining together quantitative and qualitative insights. This role will play a critical role in developing and executing an ongoing customer driven learning plan and help drive insights that shape the future growth of Wingstop.

- Responsible for leading the Customer Insights (Research) and Customer Analytics team
- Build learning agenda and roadmap to help gain deeper understanding of Wingstop consumer behaviors, motivators both within the 4-walls of Wingstop and in the category
- Synthesizes first-, second-, and third-party data into actionable strategy and measurement objectives
- Works independently to pull data, perform in-depth analyses, identify trends, and extract meaningful information to customer performance, marketing effectiveness, and general business trends
- Leads agency analytics resources to deliver customer and marketing insights and distill critical learning to cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
- Distills complex, detailed issues and data down to easily understood, presentable, and actionable findings/recommendations with creative solutions
- Understands key drivers of customer behavior and the relationship with marketing levers
- Identifies evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements that can enhance the team's understanding of the Wingstop guest and marketing activity
- Design and implement research methodologies tailored to specific project needs; conduct both primary and secondary research, utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods; ensure the accuracy and reliability of research instruments and data collection processes
- Transform complex data into compelling, clear narratives that influence decision-making; create engaging reports and presentations that effectively communicate research findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, supply chain, and growth strategy , to align research objectives with business goals; act as a key point of contact for research-related queries and insights
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging research methodologies, and new technologies; identify opportunities to enhance research practices and integrate innovative approaches
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelors Degree
- 7-10 years of experience in an analytics or consumer insights role, restaurant or retail experience highly preferred
- Strong business acumen
- Can handle high volumes of work with ability to prioritize effectively and hit promised timelines
- Extensive experience with a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis; proficiency in statistical software and research tools (e.g., SPSS, R, PowerBI, SQL)
