What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Healthcare Informatics Specialist to play a key role in improving how we collect, analyze, and use data to enhance our healthcare services. This position bridges the gap between clinical workflows, operational needs, and technology solutions, ensuring that data-driven decisions are at the heart of what we do. You'll work closely with operations, IT, and client-facing teams to design systems, interpret data, and optimize the use of technology in delivering high-quality healthcare documentation services.
What You'll Do
  • Support Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, improve operational workflows, and enhance service delivery.
  • Optimize EHR/EMR Integration: Collaborate with IT and client teams to ensure smooth integration of EHR/EMR platforms, enhancing usability and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Design Reporting Tools: Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for clinical and operational teams, ensuring key metrics are easily accessible and understandable.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Work with compliance and IT teams to ensure all data management processes align with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a liaison between technical teams, healthcare providers, and operational leadership to ensure data solutions align with user needs and organizational goals.
  • Evaluate Technology Solutions: Research and recommend tools, platforms, and systems to improve data collection, reporting, and integration processes.
  • Improve Workflows: Partner with operations and client teams (providers and Scribes) to identify inefficiencies in documentation processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.
  • Train Teams on Data Systems: Provide training and ongoing support to ensure users understand how to access and leverage data tools effectively.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need the following experience, education, disposition, and the ability to engage in specific physical, mental, and sensory actions with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, data analytics, or a related field (master's preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare informatics, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Expertise with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Athena, ECW, NextGen, etc.), healthcare workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and database management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and data security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills-you can explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze and translate data into actional and understandable information for various audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • The ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use basic tech tools like a computer and headset, and complete tasks requiring focus and attention to detail.

  • A competitive base salary of $95,000 with the ability to earn quarterly bonuses of up to $2500 based on meeting agreed-upon metrics.
