Position Details:
Title: Director of Human Resources
Placement (location): District Office- Eagle Point, OR
Supervisor: Superintendent
Contract Days: 260 days per year, 8 hours per day
Salary Range: $129,029 to $152,508 per year, based on previous experience. Also included: $1500 mileage stipend and $480 cell phone stipend

Description:
The Director of Human Resources for Eagle Point School District is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all human resource functions with broad autonomy and alignment to local, state, and federal laws. This role involves recruitment, staff retention, policy development, labor relations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements. The Director is integral to shaping district culture, fostering workforce engagement, and supporting educational goals through effective staffing and management. Serving on the Superintendent's leadership team, the Director also acts as a chief negotiator, Title IX Coordinator, and a key spokesperson for HR matters, ensuring equity, confidentiality, and alignment with the district's mission.

Eagle Point School District expects this position to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic vision, and decision-making to manage all human resources functions effectively. Key expectations include ensuring compliance with legal mandates, district policies, and collective bargaining agreements while fostering a positive organizational culture that supports student success. The role requires a focus on workforce engagement, equitable resource allocation, and professional development. The Director must be an effective communicator, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit integrity and fairness in managing labor relations, recruitment, retention, and policy development.
