NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.
The Senior Warehouse Manager position is an integral part of the Toma-Tek facility's ability to operate at scale. This position executes with safety, balance and the customer's needs in mind. The Toma-Tek warehouse is one of the largest in the industry and as such must execute with a purpose. We are seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager with proven abilities to be a senior leader in a dynamic and agile setting. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are of utmost importance to develop solutions and drive performance in order to inspire others to perform at a higher level. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and works under limited supervision at our TomaTek plant in Firebaugh, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize quality and efficiency through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Work closely with executive-level management in the development of warehouse operational strategy.
- Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day operational activities that provide visibility into goals, progress and obstacles for key company initiatives.
- Manages systems and procedures for organized and accurate storage for finished goods in a variety of container types
- Manages FIFO and customer-specific directions to ensure proper inventory shipping and minimization of old age inventory and waste.
- Manages all shipment(s) processes of finished goods; including but not limited to establishing appropriate pick list per customer orders, appropriate preparation of all orders, coordination of all order(s) modes of transportation (truck, intermodal, rail & etc),
- Responsible for the management of the company's fleet of re-usable containers including but not limited to annual container preparation and volume driven requirements, accurate receipts of container parts from customers, and accurate recording of all container transactions.
- Manages resolution of customer complaints and requests in a timely manner. Ensures orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and within budget.
- Coordinates with Quality Assurance and Production Operations Management to ensure alignment of warehouse operations with production rate requirements and required specifications, and applicable Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (SOPs).
- Establishes and monitors cycle count process to ensure accuracy of finished goods inventory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain & logistics management, or closely related field; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- Minimum 10 years' relevant work experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in materials and inventory management control, ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and wireless scanning systems, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain management practices and inventory control processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems and wireless scanning system.
- Ability to supervise, coach and effectively communicate to employees.
- Strong customer service orientation with high sense of urgency to meet objectives and guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate information and make effective conclusions and decisions based on that information.
- Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and operate various inventory, materials and operational software as applicable, including technical equipment.
- Experience working in a union environment preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, credit screen, and work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
Compensation:
The salary range is $160,000- $180,000, based on experience and qualifications.
