The General Manager (GM) will oversee all aspects of the daily operation and strategic management of the Interstellar Arc experience, a cutting-edge LBVR (Location-Based Virtual Reality) attraction located in District 2 of Area15, Las Vegas. This role is crucial to ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and achieving financial and business growth targets. The GM will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage relationships with key external partners to drive the success of this flagship attraction and support its future expansion.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the Interstellar Arc attraction, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures tailored to LBVR experiences.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including attendance, revenue, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
2. External Partner Management
- Food & Beverage (F&B): Oversee coordination with F&B vendors to ensure offerings align with the Interstellar Arc brand and guest expectations. Monitor quality, service, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ticketing: Collaborate with ticketing platform providers to optimize sales, streamline the booking process, and enhance the guest purchasing experience.
- Merchandising: Work with merchandising partners to develop and promote branded products that align with the Interstellar Arc theme and drive revenue.
- Landlord Relations: Act as the primary point of contact with Area15 management, ensuring alignment on operational needs, lease compliance, and shared initiatives.
- Marketing and Media Agency: Coordinate with external marketing and media agencies to execute campaigns, promote events, and maximize audience reach. Provide input on creative direction to align with brand messaging.
- Online Travel Agencies (OTAs): Manage relationships with OTAs and other distribution partners to optimize listings, pricing strategies, and visibility to attract local and international visitors.
3. Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of operations staff, technicians, and guest service associates.
- Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, innovation, and guest-centric service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
4. Financial Oversight
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for the Interstellar Arc attraction.
- Track financial performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while controlling costs.
- Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams, such as sponsorships, partnerships, or events.
5. Guest Experience Excellence
- Ensure that every guest interaction aligns with the high standards of Felix & Paul Studios.
- Continuously enhance the guest journey by analyzing feedback and implementing innovative solutions.
- Address guest complaints or operational challenges promptly and effectively.
6. Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, health and safety protocols, and company standards.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and lead regular safety drills.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years in operations or general management, preferably in entertainment, attractions, or hospitality industries in Las Vegas, Nevada
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
- Experience managing relationships with external vendors and partners across F&B, ticketing, merchandising, and marketing.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and achieving revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for immersive experiences, innovation, and guest engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) or Virtual Reality attractions.
- Familiarity with technical systems and maintenance in a high-tech environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not required).
