Summary:
The Manager of Central Pharmacy Support will be responsible to provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations of all areas including customer flow, staffing, patient relations, customer service, quality of care, schedules, templates, and site-operation needs. Duties will also include all other functions reasonably assigned that are consistent with the responsibilities of the role. This position will require on-site management and may require traveling in the field representing up to 25% or more. Shift requirements for this role can vary anywhere between 9am to 7pm and may change per business needs.

Education/Experience:
Minimum 5 years in pharmacy operations and management, including Pharmacy management experience.
B.S. or PharmD in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
Experience with desktop support including, but not limited to, Windows Operating system, networking, printers, scanners, remote management software, VOIP system, O365 and MS Office Suite.
Dermatology experience preferred.
Licensure -
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of IL.
Must get their NY Pharmacist license within 90 days of hire.
Duties and Responsibilities:
They include the following. Other duties may be assigned;
1.Provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations of all areas including patient flow, staffing, patient relations, customer service, quality of care, schedules, templates, and site operation needs and maintains a culture of constant focus process improvement.
2.Ensure high quality patient care coordination and patient satisfaction.
3.Interview and hire team members as needed with the support of VP of Operations.
4.Determine team schedules.
5.Address escalated patient issues as needed.
6.Help monitor Prior Authorizations initiatives and provider integrations.
7.Follows-up with corporate departments (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, etc.) for support and escalation of operational and/or patient issues.
8.Holds departmental meetings and training sessions as needed.
9.Supervises, manages, develops and evaluates the performance of all staff on an ongoing basis and in accordance with applicable performance standards.
10.Serves as a mentor or coach to staff and colleagues in quality and performance improvement processes. Collaborates and provides ongoing feedback to staff.
11.Conducts formal performance reviews of staff.
12.Collaborates with the HR team in managing employee relations issues such as progressive discipline, suggestions for improvement, and administering terminations as needed.
13.Works closely with corporate human resources to implement company policies and procedures. Assists in the development of procedures and best-practice guidelines.
14.Maintain professional personal appearance while representing Apotheco Pharmacy in all locations.
15.Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
16.Meets training and education requirements for HIPAA.
17.Help maximize Apotheco integrations by optimizing workflow at sites and remotely.
18.Help support Nexus initial and rollout at Apotheco sites.
19.Provide central support during APG staffing shortages.
20.Be able to incorporate additional functions as needed for the business.
21.Lead clinical support initiatives for Virtual DermShop and OTC Support.
22.Manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring timely and accurate communication with patients and providers.
23.Handle inbound and outbound provider calls for clarification and inquiries.
24.Order management
Oversee order entry and Pharmacist Verification in PioneerRX
Address "Error List" corrections
Process transfers from APG locations
25.Facilitate communication with partner fulfillment pharmacies and oversee prescription verifications to reduce backlogs.
26.Work with Manger of Central Operations to determine uses for all central resources.
27.Support the development of a collaborative, on-site Chicago/Naperville team focused on centralized operations for both Skin Medicinals and Apotheco Pharmacy Group.
