*This is a year-round position that reports to the Director of Early Learning and will have flexible hours to meet the needs of programs.

Position Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Early Learning Manager to oversee the full day preschool childcare and other early learning programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preschool education and childcare, proven leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to providing a safe and enriching experience for children.
Wayzata Early Learning is a high quality program part of the Wayzata Community Education program that provides early childhood education and childcare to students in preschool. Early Learning School operates a number of programs for Wayzata's youngest learners including; Part-day preschool, School-day preschool, Full-day preschool, ECFE, Early Childhood Screening, family and community outreach.

Responsibilities (see attached position description for complete list):

• The Early Learning Manager supervises Preschool teachers and assistants as part of our early learning programs.
• Design, supervise and maintain a safe, positive environment which meets the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of the children in an inclusive setting.
• Develop and distribute Early Learning promotions and communications to staff, parents, building secretaries and elementary principals
• Maintain accountability in all aspects of the program, complying with standards and certification guidelines.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, supervise and dismiss program staff
• Manage staff with weekly communication and regular site visits
• Conduct regular staff meetings
• Communicate regularly with parent
