Mercy Medical Group is seeking a PA or NP to join our orthopedic team in Sacramento, CA. Our growing orthopedic division is comprised of 7 surgeons, 2 sports med doctors, and 6 APPs.
MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Mercy Medical Group is aligned with Dignity Health, operating on a medical foundation model. Dignity Health is a part of CommonSpirit Health, one of the nation's largest health systems dedicated to advancing health for all people.

Mercy Medical Group is seeking a PA or NP to join our orthopedic team in Sacramento, CA. Our growing orthopedic division is comprised of 7 surgeons, 2 sports med doctors, and 6 APPs.
- Partner primarily with one experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to form a care team
- NO CALL, NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS. Great quality of life!
- Split time between clinic and first assist in OR (PA or NP with RNFA), but clinic only option available
- Prior orthopedic experience is desirable, but not required
- Excellent compensation and benefits
- Compensation Range: $141,158 - $187,358 / Year

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California
- NPI and DEA license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Pay Range
$67.87 - $90.07 /hour
