Banner Property Management www.bannerapartments.com is hiring for an IL based Regional Manager to oversee operations, financial performance, team development, resident retention, and exemplary customer service across a diverse portfolio spanning 3+ different states. Extensive travel will be required to provide hands-on support and leadership across all locations.

This position will office out of Naperville, IL when not traveling to the properties and will report directly to the Banner Property Management Vice President of Operations. Candidate must reside within 60 miles or 1 hour of a major airport.

Required Skill Set

- Strong financial and operational acumen and exceptional team-building skills.
- Expertise in the areas of marketing, leasing, accounting, financial and cash flow management, budgeting, building maintenance, capital improvements, curb appeal, unit turnover, resident retention, customer service, contract negotiation, etc.
- Ability to quickly determine what is working on a property and make immediate changes for what is not.
- Make specific recommendations to improve business results/property performance.
- Ability to Implement these changes quickly and successfully.
- Ability to transfer knowledge and empower on site team members to identify and solve their own issues.
- Ability to handle resident and employee customer service issues with respect and the highest professionalism.
Required Competencies
- Solid working knowledge of PM software (Yardi, Yardi CRM, and AIRM, are a plus).
- CAM or CPM certification is a plus!
- Experience managing 5+ sites and teams.
- 8 + Years of Multi Family experience
- 2+ Years of Regional Manager or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with Google Suite and MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook and more).
- The ability to prioritize, multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Resourceful, works independently, self-starter, and self-driven.
- Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Extensive travel is required including weekly back-to-back travel (driving and flying).
- Valid driver's license and reliable, personal automobile for local job related travel.
