Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant

Company: Numecent, Inc.

Starting date: January 2025

Report to the CEO and CFO

Compensation (TBD based on experience)

Location: Irvine (Remote and onsite hybrid mode)

Job responsibilities (preliminary, subject to change):

• Customer PO processing and invoicing
• Vendor payment processing
• Review AR aging weekly and contact customers on past due payments
• Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Software revenue recognition
• Manage month end close process (reconciliations and journal entries)
• Manage customer license requests and work with the Support team on license issuance
• Maintain the customer renewal file and notify customer on renewals
• Consolidation of financial statements
• Support external audits and tax returns
• Assist with payroll and HR functions
• Work together with the CEO and CFO on ad hoc reports and tasks

Requirements.

• 3-5 years' experience as a corporate Accountant
• BS degree in Accounting, a certification such as CPA will be a bonus
• Profound experience with Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks online
• Experience with full cycle month-end close process
• Strong technical knowledge of Excel
• Experience at big 4 is a plus
• Good understanding of revenue recognition, especially on software license revenues
• Working at software companies are a plus
• Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
