Senior Accountant (Hybrid)

You will support the Company's accounting functions ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAP). Our Accounting team is proud of their contributions to support business goals while ensuring the uninterrupted development and manufacturing of high-tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense.

Are You Looking to

• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts on a recurring basis; including posting monthly journal entries, providing high quality variance analysis, and investigating and determining potential impacts of different activities on financial statements.
• Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy through reconciliation; analyzing routine to complex accounting transactions to ensure proper classification according to U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries for entry into the general ledger system on a monthly basis by collecting necessary data, analyzing and/or allocating costs and preparing audit transaction support for the journal entries.

Are You Ready to

• Coordinate month-end close, journal entries, expense allocation process, and preparation of monthly GAAP statements.
• Maintains and oversees the General Ledger including data security, journal entry integrity, interfaces, chart of accounts, and report writer. Responsible for ensuring principles of accounting.
• Prepares and evaluates the monthly financial statements and make recommendations for any changes as appropriate.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or six years of an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Six or more years of experience in Accounting and Financial functions with at least three or more years of proven experience in financial reporting analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Ability to travel 10%.
