JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the revenue management process for Norwegian. Create the budget and forecasts for NCL ticket revenue. Partner with various NCL Sales and Marketing Departments to create promotions to drive demand Globally, coordination of all group activity, foreign currency analysis, new and existing processes. Directly support the Revenue Management Department head in all performance analysis.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and issue ticket reporting and ad hoc analyses to analyze ticket trends in order to proactively communicate patterns or findings with senior management.
  • Monitor booking trends and identify weak sailing or product areas that require additional focus by the NCL management team.
  • Make recommendations on pricing and promotion initiatives to drive bookings. Develop and implement revenue management model enhancements.
  • Coordinate and work jointly with brand Sales & Marketing groups on promotion maintenance, creation and implementation to help drive consumer demand.
  • Manage all Revenue cost assumptions including dilutive elements such as coupons, and costs such as air and transfer costs.
  • Create and action large-scale public promotions in the domestic market.
  • Liaise with the International team for targeted promotions on need sailings and markets across all global channels.
  • Compare current market performance with historical trends and develop revenue budget and forecasting recommendations.
  • Provide analytical support to internal customers for revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. Perform special projects with various internal departments.
  • Team with the IT Systems Group to develop and enhance reporting and analytic tools (data warehouse).
  • Work closely with Itinerary Planning, Sales, and Marketing to ensure an effective and efficient strategic pricing process from initial itinerary approval to system input and communication.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related discipline

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 8 years related experience, including but not limited to Revenue Management, Finance, Sales, Strategic Planning or Accounting.
  • Cruise line experience preferred.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
  • Motivated and demonstrative leadership skills are critical for success in the position.
  • Position must be able to articulate and clearly communicate concepts and analysis throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced techniques are required for this position (pivot tables, lookup formulas, logical functions and database functions.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to work well with numbers and analyze complex data.
  • Ability to interpret numerical data to analyze situations, getting to the root of problems, and make recommendations.
