Summary:
The Director of Hospital Operations and Pharmacy will assist the President of the Hospital in developing and maintaining direct and non-direct patient care services on a continual hospital basis through the use of sound management practices within the limitations established. This position will assist the President of the Hospital in the development, implementation and successful physician business processes. Works collaboratively with the President, medical staff, hospital departments and clinics to establish and maintain effective relationships. Facilitates performance improvement activities linked to the strategic plan including the collection and analysis of Ongoing Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) data. Also responsible for all aspects of the Pharmaceutical services department to include clinical, business, financial, and personnel; create and maintain financial/procedural budget; recruitment and retention of staff; responsible for employee and patient satisfaction; ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Requires a minimum of a Master's Degree related to the field of Management, preferably in health care administration. 2-3 years' work experience in healthcare or hospital administration preferred. Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy or equivalent. Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Arkansas. In good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. Education and experience may vary according to combined background of individual. Minimum of three years' experience in hospital pharmacy management is required. Unit dose, IV admixture, and computer skills preferred
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
