Position Overview

As a Nurse Manager, you'll lead our dedicated clinical team, ensuring safe and effective dispensary operations while fostering a collaborative, supportive environment. You'll play a key role in managing medication inventory, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating care across teams-all in the service of providing exceptional care to our members. What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership
  • Supervise and support nursing staff, providing mentorship and fostering team collaboration.
  • Ensure the dispensary is fully staffed and deliver direct care services as needed (20% of your time).
  • Resolve conflicts between staff and members, maintaining a positive, respectful environment.
  • Represent the nursing team in leadership meetings, advocating for staff and clinical needs.

Operational Excellence
  • Manage medication inventory with precision, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Clinic Administrator to improve dispensary practices and workflows.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and inspections, working closely with oversight agencies like the DEA and PQAC.

Member-Centered Care
  • Champion a welcoming and respectful environment for all members.
  • Collaborate with providers, staff, and external organizations to ensure members receive the care and resources they need.
  • Coordinate special needs, including jail-dispensed medications, with community partners.

Policy & Compliance
  • Stay ahead of federal, state, and local regulations to ensure clinic compliance.
  • Regularly review and update policies and procedures, aligning them with best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience
  • A current Washington State license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), Physician Assistant, or Registered Pharmacist.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare staff management.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding the storage and dispensing of controlled substances.
  • Experience in Opioid Treatment Programs is preferred but not required.

Skills & Attributes
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
  • A commitment to compassionate, member-centered care.

Work Environment
