Salary Range: $ 113,991 - $150,004 annually/hourly.
Placement on range dependent on relevant experience presented in application materials.

The primary focus of this role is to guarantee that new construction meets the State Building Code, commonly accepted engineering principles, and all other relevant regulations and standards. As a valued member of our team, the role of Structural Engineer offers an exciting opportunity to review intricate structural engineering plans for commercial and industrial projects. Working under the guidance of our experienced Structural Engineer and reporting to the Building Official, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with the Oregon Structural Specialty Code and established engineering practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting engineering studies, analyzing data, and providing insightful recommendations. Additionally, you will have the chance to conduct site visits as needed, allowing you to actively oversee construction progress and address any potential conflicts.
This role involves collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, making it essential for us to find a team player with exceptional communication skills. We highly value attention to detail, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities. The position demands a high level of professionalism, strong critical thinking skills, and adaptability. Job Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field and 7 years of structural engineering experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Licensing/Certifications
Candidate must hold Oregon licenses in the following:
Oregon Structural Engineer License, PE
Oregon Inspector Certification
Commercial Building Plans Examiner Certification (within one year of hire)
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
