Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the motion preservation product category that includes cervical disc replacement and other arthroplasty product lines. This position works alongside the Global Director of Marketing for Motion Preservation and manages the company's motion preservation marketing strategy, arthroplasty campaigns, and arthroplasty branding efforts. The primary focus is on building the motion preservation brand, increasing market share in the spinal arthroplasty category, and ensuring the company's message is effectively communicated across all channels.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily marketing and product category requirements
- Create arthroplasty business strategy plans for the cervical and lumbar ADR segments
- Support arthroplasty product group P&L
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills
- Create strategic arthroplasty marketing campaigns and develop arthroplasty product support materials
- Provide direct motion preservation technical support to the sales force and assist in meeting sales objectives
- Participate in key arthroplasty sales situations for the motion preservation products
- Produce competitive analysis for the motion preservation category and arthroplasty product forecasts
- Conduct motion preservation market analysis to develop arthroplasty product definitions.
- Plan, organize and develop motion preservation category support and arthroplasty product launch packages
- Monitor and document emerging trends for the arthroplasty products in the spinal motion preservation category
- Provide technical expertise and training to other departments in support of motion preservation product development.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as executive management, sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing and operations to develop and provide motion preservation business strategy, arthroplasty product definitions, responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized list of motion preservation customers and market requirements for arthroplasty products.
- Provide financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
- Conduct market research and identifies and tracks arthroplasty market trends in company's history.
- Produce competitive analysis and materials comparing motion preservation product(s) with its key competitors.
- Create and implement business plans that optimize both the motion preservation market share and profitability of existing and new products in the spinal arthroplasty category.
- Create strategies for product pricing, and positioning
- Prepare and allocate budgets across product marketing initiatives
- Specify all arthroplasty market requirements for current and future products (min. 2-3 years out)
- Execute on time motion preservation product launches
- Develop and manage motion preservation KOLs for the motion preservation product group.
- Develop and implement go-to-market plans both domestic and international
- Develop and implement product lifecycle strategy

- Microsoft Office Suite.
- General knowledge of medical device business including the science, products, research and commercialization process, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
- Knowledge of the spinal market, with specific motion preservation product knowledge in cervical and lumbar disc replacement products, surgical process, selling process, regulatory process, development process, and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of DCS, JDE, Live Link & Impromptu required.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10-15 years of experience preferred, with min 10 years in the spinal motion preservation category.
Travel Requirements
Up to 75%
