Description:

Expotel Hospitality is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to join our expanding company.

The Regional Director of Operations is primarily responsible for serving as an administrative officer, recommending and participating in the formulation of new policies, and making decisions within the bounds of existing policies. Plans, organizes, and directs programs and activities and the staff at assigned hotels to ensure the Company's & Investor's goals and objectives are met. Acts as a liaison between the ownership and brand.

Education & Experience:
A minimum of at least 5 years of General Manager experience with multiple brands. A minimum of 2 years of that experience must be in a full-service hotel.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong background in field operations.
Strong knowledge and background in Sales and Operations.
Strong speaking and presentation skills.
Must be able to demonstrate owner advocacy with brands.
Specific involvement and experience in employee training.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of various brand systems, budgeting, financial controls, computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office.
Ability to travel when necessary.

Essential (partial list):
  • Informs the ownership on the conditions and operation of the Company, the owner's entity, the owner's entity's financial standing, and quality standing with their franchise.
  • Plans, formulates, and recommends basic policies and programs to further the objectives of the Company.
  • Executes all decisions of the ownership.
  • Provides liaison support to Hotel management to enable them to perform assigned functions.
  • Promotes property owner interests.
  • Responsible for knowing all property's financial standings and for reporting to ownership when necessary capital injections are required to assist the property in operating correctly in a proactive timely manner.
  • Plans, formulates, and recommends basic policies and programs to further the objectives of the Company.
  • Manages administrative operations of the assigned hotels.
  • Directs and coordinates staff.
  • Oversees final approval of all hotel budgets and marketing plans with COO & VP of Sales & Marketing.
  • Acts as company liaison with all franchise companies and franchise personnel and maintains regular communications
  • Ensures that each property is visited _at least one time per month, in many cases multiple times per month.
  • Responsible for fostering future contracts and contract relations with potential clients.
