Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Backend software developer with experience building and deploying Infrastructure as code (IaC) applications using AWS Serverless Application Model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions using AWS services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services
• Collaborate with our team of skilled software engineers to help define program architectures and build robust, scalable solutions
• Leverage your experience and creativity to drive new innovative software applications and components
• Enhance our software design best-practices, including test-driven development and frequent end-to-end testing

Qualifications:

• BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• At least 2 of those years have been focused on designing, building, deploying and maintaining serverless applications using Lambda functions
• Hands-on Java/Springboot and Python programing experience
• Strong knowledge of database design, modeling, and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
• Software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, object-oriented design, and design patterns
• Manage AWS environments, including setup, monitoring, and optimization
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
• Proficient in AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudFormation
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
