We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and drive strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential programs for at-risk population, business development, sales, and project management, with a proven ability to negotiate effectively and foster long-term client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.

As the Senior Director of Business Development, you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to enhance our competitive position.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners through effective customer relationship management.
• Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
• Perform on-going evaluation of new business opportunities across all service lines and provide reports to the Vice President of Operations as directed.
• Work in collaboration with facility Executive Directors and senior management on targeted initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or marketing or related field of study
• Five or more years of similar role for residential programs, healthcare or insurance plan marketing or sales experience.
• Strong verbal, written communication, public presentation and interpersonal skills,
• Strong organizational skills as well as creative, strategic, and ability to multi-task
• Strong commitment to the mission of the organization

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in behavioral or social science field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the juvenile justice / children's services field and a minimum of 5+ years of research experience in social sciences.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
• Pass Drug Screening, TB Testing and Physical Exam.
• Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.
• Valid registered vehicle insurance.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
