Description:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for the providing strategic leadership, management, and oversight for the various departments within the Division: Environmental Health, Environmental Services & Laundry, Food Services, Housing, Maintenance, Projects, and Security. Establishes best practices and standard operating procedures related to all aspects of Facilities and Support Services management responsibilities, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, capital project management, customer service, and a clean, safe physical environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Services Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or Facilities Management, Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Certification such as CFM, CHFM, or similar preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years administrative level experience in hospital, community health, or health services operations.
  • Experience should demonstrate use of most of the skills required for this position and in accomplishing the tasks and duties assigned.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and initiative in performing tasks and activities required for the effective functioning of healthcare facility operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership for staff in health care program operations; ability to work cooperatively with departmental provider and support staff, management and administration, and the community; capacity to enjoy varied work assignments and to work with minimal supervision and direction.
