Role:

To generate and expand existing and new business deposit relationships by offering value in recommending the correct credit union products and services to achieve the business member's financial goals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

50% Prospect and network to develop long-term mutually beneficial relationships, focusing on business deposits and other treasury products and services including future developments.

20% Complete research on industries, prepare analysis and presentation materials and use the Sales Model for all prospect and member meetings. Collaborate and introduce members to Credit Union Partners when cross-sell opportunities are identified. Monitor and record all referrals received and sent and prepare quarterly incentive report.

20% Support all business member activities from sale through implementation, ongoing member relationship management, and overall driving and attainment of revenue.

10% Build and maintain a strong focus, awareness and understanding of Credit Union treasury products and services including future developments.

Performance Measurements:

1. Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the credit union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act. Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities. Please refer to Annual Performance Goal document for remaining Performance Measurements.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Five or more years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills: Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position.

Other Skills: Skill and ability to use and operate a keyboard (typewriter), computer, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone. Skill and ability to read and understand financial statements, contracts, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials. Must have the skill and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
