APRS' core competency is managing decedent debt recovery for credit grantors and service providers. Salary range of $110,000-$130,000 annually depending on experience.

Position summary

The Director of Finance will be responsible for providing high level support to the Accounting operations specifically related to month-end, quarter-end, and annual closings including the consolidation of financials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees financial operations and direct corporate financial planning structure
Ability to manage cash flow and maintain banking relationships
Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction of staff
Coordinates, analyzes and reports financial performance to Management
Prepares short and long-term financial forecast of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties
Oversees and prepares documentation for external audit and tax functions, coordinates activities with outside audit firm
Oversees and prepares documentation for external audits for clients and states
Oversees insurance and licensing renewals and coordinates licensing renewals with outside vendor

Performs vendor analysis for Tier 1 vendors
Coordinates and analyzes the financial performance of subsidiaries and other related party entities
Develops, implements and maintains accounting policies and procedures

Reviews and adheres to client contracts and work standards
Performs other duties and projects as requested, directed or assigned

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA designation required
10+ years of experience with at least 3 years of Management, public accounting experience preferred
Experience in accounting for multiple inter-company accounts, reconciliation and consolidations
Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and accounting principles including GAAP, FASB and internal controls
