Overview

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be accountable for planning and executing the implementation of complex enterprise software at top tier airlines, ensuring that key internal and external stakeholders are aligned on deliverables and hit critical deadline. Given that we build, implement and support enterprise B2B (and B2B2C) software, the scope of our projects is large, and the impact of your work will be high.

To be successful, you will need to manage a large group of stakeholders with differing priorities and motivations; Strong communication and leadership skills are a must. Finally, you must have the ability to influence without authority, to keep people on track regardless of reporting lines or what company they work for.

What You Will Do
    • Lead a variety of large and complex customer projects, including new customer implementations, software upgrades, and additional product rollouts.
    • Coordinate tasks across multiple teams (business and technical streams), both internal and external, to ensure fulfillment of all committed deliverables within the agreed upon timeline and budget.
    • Organize and run meetings with internal teams and with client staff.
    • Report project status to various levels of company and client management.
    • Identify potential project scope changes and handle the resulting discussions ensuring alignment and re-focused priorities.
    • Identify risks to the success of projects, ensuring that they are clearly communicated and that appropriate actions are taken.
    • Create and distribute key project documents, in conjunction with other teams, for project milestones such as kick-off, discovery, testing, client acceptance, go-live, handover to support.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of our delivery framework, acting as a senior resource to guide the company to maximize impact on behalf of our customers.


Skills and Experience
    • 10+ years of progressive project management experience.
    • 5+ years of experience with enterprise software implementations, including systems integration.
    • Foundational understanding of important enterprise software technologies, such as connectivity & security models (e.g. VPN, SSO/IdP integration), message queueing systems (e.g. Kafka, WMQ), APIs, etc..
    • Extensive experience working in cross-functional groups, leading requirements elicitation and estimation.
    • Relentless commitment to delivery timelines and quality standards. Exhibits assertiveness and the ability to lead and influence others who are not direct reports.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present confidently to senior management, including client executives.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to plan and clearly communicate a plan to others.
    • Able to adapt to unexpected changes, adjust the plan, and help others adjust without becoming overly frustrated
    • Airline industry experience is an asset, but not required provided you are willing and able to learn
