Compensation Range:
$87,708.00 - $122,792.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Completes defined scope and standards of practice. Engages in environmental scanning to identify practice gaps and collaborates with others in improving practice and healthcare outcomes. Functions as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. Supports learning, change, professional role competence and growth, which ultimately lead to optimal patient care, population health, and protection of the public.

Schedule

FT position available (40 hours). Primarily days, 8-hour shifts. Occasional off shift for staff education.

Responsibilities

Seeking an individual with advanced assessment skills and strong clinical knowledge regarding pediatric surgery and recovery. Main responsibilities include orientation and onboarding of new staff, clinical staff development and advancement, unit education and competency development. Involvement with policy review, as well as leading of performance improvement and safety initiatives. Candidates must possess strong collaboration skills and exceptional organizational skills. Seeking an individual with strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Master's Degree required in applicable field. 3-5 years of pediatric and or perioperative experience required. Experience with safety and performance improvement desirable.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing Education or related field in Nursing required; Or equivalent combination of education and experience; 3 years RN experience in acute care setting preferred; Recent clinical and educational expertise in specialty area required; RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure with current New York State license upon hire required; Professional nursing certification in specialty area upon hire preferred
